Jen Hendershott
As the only girl surrounded by a group of brothers, Jen Hendershott grew up in a fun, tough and athletic atmosphere. Family sports were a way of life, so her love of fitness and competition comes naturally. In high school, she joined the cheerleading squad, and not only did her team place as champions from 1989-1991, but Jen herself won Best Individual Cheerleader in Ohio in 1991. She continued her cheerleading career in college, where she also earned a Bachelor of Science in Education.
Jen began to compete seriously in 1997 where – among other achievements – she took 1st place in the Mike Francois World Gym Classic and 2nd place in Junior Nationals. In 1999 she earned her IFBB Pro card. After that, there was no looking back! Jen continued to place in events all over the country. And in 2005, she shone, winning both the Ms. Fitness International and Ms. Olympia! Recently Jen reclaimed Ms. Olympia 2008.
Jen does most of her own choreography, and the creativity and energy is important to her. She’s also an entrepreneur who has founded many successful businesses, including lines of clothing and her celebrated Phat Camp. And she’s a strong advocate of the importance of personal fitness – and the people who can help others achieve their goals. That’s just one of the reasons she’s a celebrity instructor and advocate of the PFI Personal Fitness Training program!
